How We Got Started
The idea of the first edition of Polonia 5K Run was created at the meeting of the Board of the Polish American Sports Association (www.pasaus.org) after the end of the Winter Olympics in Sochi in March 2014 ‘
Our Founders
The main founders of the Polonia 5K Run were: Andy Krygowski, Jacek Piwowar, Lukasz Sikorski, Gosia
Gabryel, Tadeusz Kulmacz, Jan Wilczewski, Mirek Krajewski, Anthony Domino, Waldemar Piwowar, Bozena Niebrzydowski, Marek Pieluszynski, Tom Augustyniak, Stanislaw Gorak, Stanislaw Gorak, Barbara Zawlocka, Adam Pikul and few other members of PASA
Our First Race
The first Polonia 5K Run took place on May 3, 2014’ in Wallington. On a beautiful, sunny Saturday
morning, with the participation of the world’s fastest Speed Skater and Fireman at the same time was
held on a beautiful panoramic 5-kilometer route.
