2023 5K Run Guest – Oskar Kwiatkowski Snowboard World Champion
The organizers of the Polonia 5K Run have decided to make efforts to promote Sport and the Olympic
Idea as well as the Educational Values of the training process and the preparation of young people to
their participation in the Olympic Games. We also aim to obtain the approval of the Linden City Council
to remain the organizer of the Olympic Picnic under the slogan: Us and the Olympic Games. On behalf of
the Race Committee and Oskar Kwiatkowski, we invite all New Jersians to Linden on Sunday, June 04th
2023. Run with us!
Last year’s guest Natalia Maliszewska and Piotr Michalski
The guests of last year’s Polonia 5K Run were pair of the best Speed Skaters, participants of the last
Olympic Games – Beijing 2022 – Natalia Maliszewska and Piotr Michalski. Natalia is the European Champion and Vice World Champion in Short Track. Piotr is also the fastest European Sprinter and Team Vice World Champion in sprint. They will cheer for our runners and are available for photo sessions and autographs after the end of the run.

Highlights from Past Races and Events
Polonia 5K Run is a Run quite typical as many others like. It has already been organized in several New Jersey
cities – including Wallington, Clark, Garfield, and this year in Linden. It has his die-hard sympathizers and
Cheerleaders . At the start, it gathers children up to 8 years old for Desh around the Block, Walkers, and
Runners. We distribute medals and prizes for the winners in the overall medal Man and Woman Categories, as well as
age categories and separately for the three best Policemen / Firemen and Teachers
The proceeds from the run are usually donated to the needs of the Polish and American Olympic Committees and the Special Olympics, but this year we will donate the proceeds from the run to children from the Linden Kids Foundation
